GigaMedia to Hold Investor Conference Call on December 19 to Discuss Acquisition of FunTown

 

TAIPEI, Taiwan, December 19, 2005 – GigaMedia Limited ("GigaMedia" or the "Company") (NASDAQ: GIGM) will hold an investor webcast on December 19, 2005 at 10:30 a.m. Eastern Daylight Time, which is 11:30 p.m Taipei/Hong Kong Time on December 19, 2005, to discuss the Company's acquisition of FunTown, a leading Asian casual game portal and operator of the world's largest online Mahjong game site in terms of revenues.
